Piano Tuning - We adjust the tension of each string of your acoustic piano so that intervals between strings are in tune. It requires an assessment of the vibration interaction among notes, which is different for every piano. Many piano manufacturers recommend that pianos be tuned twice a year.
Piano Voicing - We adjust the density of the felts covering the hammers and we make sure that everything within the action is working at its best – the hammers strike the strings squarely, the action is well-adjusted to produce a warmer or brighter tone
Piano Regulation - We make adjustments to the action of a piano - everything between the keys and the strings, to make it play and feel the way it should. Over time, the wood, felt, metal, and buckskin in the piano settles and compresses.
